AL Bold Predictions
- Judge and Stanton give us a summer like Mantle and Maris in ’61 (Both hit over 50 HR)
- Jorge Soler belts 31 HR and is a top 10 fantasy OF in the AL.
- Billy Hamilton steals 80 bases. The Royals ran like crazy last year and Billy won’t stop whenever he happens to reach base.
- Jose Berrios competes for the Cy Young and Ks 220 with a 2.95 ERA
- I’m going back to the well on Yoan Moncada. He breaks out and has a 25/25 season.
NL Bold Predictions
- Mets have 3 SPs in the Cy Young race as Thor, deGrom and Wheeler each K over 200 and have ERAs under 3.
- Michael Conforto leads the NL in HR with 43.
- Yasiel Puig is a top 5 player in the NL and puts together his first 30 homer 100 RBI season. I’ll project a .281/353/.503 season with 33 HR and 102 RBI and chips in 16 SB. (Bonus: The Reds come a game short of the wild card but have a huge year offensively)
- Ross Stripling wins 20 games for the Dodgers.
- Garrett Hampson bats .290 and steals 40 bases as the regular 2nd basemen for the Rockies.
