Meet the RE Tech Entrepreneur — Bobby Bryant from DOSS

In our latest real estate tech interview, we’re talking with the CEO of DOSS, Bobby Bryant. Based in Houston, DOSS is working on a voice powered real estate search experience. I met him in New York a few weeks ago, and it’s clear his passion for his work is unwavering.

1) What do you do?

I’m the CEO/Founder of DOSS. As of recent, I was for several years a Texas Real Estate Broker. I now oversee the direction and vision of DOSS.

2) Why do you do what you do?

I love real estate, the good and the bad. I was one of the real estate industry’s 70 experts interviewed by Stefan Swanepoel for the NAR commissioned D.A.N.G.E.R. REPORT and his publication is why DOSS was conceived. I do what I do because I believe there is a much better way to execute the basics in favor of the consumer and the REALTOR without anybody having to become obsolete.

3) What are you most excited about right now?

I’m most excited about the possibilities. I’m excited about DOSS! I’m excited that the industry is now excited about DOSS! I’m excited that we have the right companies behind DOSS! I’m excited that we are in the right place, at the right time, and with the right product!

4) What’s next for you?

To officially launch DOSS at the upcoming Inman Connect in San Francisco. Our goal is to BETA, TEST, BETA, TEST, and BETA, TEST! Our goal is to ensure a delightful, easy, and fun consumer experience when using DOSS. With that being said, the next step is to focus on accuracy and user experience. These are the ingredients to our success! What’s also next: We will integrate DOSS into Amazon Echo for the 2% of the U.S. population that has it in their homes by the end of April.

5) What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

Outside of real estate; education, kids, and women! I have two Masters Degrees in Education. DOSS is a sponsor for cstem.org. We mirror their belief that everybody is an Artist and an Engineer. We will sponsor their robotics competitions for kids and schools throughout the country. When it comes to women, I use to be a Local Chapter President and on the Board at the State Level for Women’s Council of Realtors(WCR). I believe in empowering women and DOSS will show our active support.
