I made a little history tonight on MLB the Show ’18. Matt Kemp extended his hitting streak to 20 games. I’ve never done that on the game since I started playing it in 2010.
Kemp’s streak has twice came down to the last at-bat. Once in game 17 against the Cincinnati Reds, he singled with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to keep it alive in his last chance. The next game it looked like his streak would be snapped; only for the Dodgers to rally and force extra innings against the Reds. Kemp laced a double in the gap in the bottom of the 10th and ended up scoring the game winning run. Having a lot of fun seeing how far I can take Kemp on this streak. he’s hitting in the high .360’s playing every day and I’m about 40+ games in.
Cody Bellinger hit his 13th bomb of my season in Miami my last game and is up to 28 RBI on the year.
