Roberts said Corey Seager will need a 4-7 day throwing progression once he resumes throwing on Monday.

You’ve noticed that the Los Angeles Dodgers are really scuffling lately. It was going to happen at some point, but it’s important to note why.
They lost a twin-bill doubleheader in San Diego today while the nation feasted on college football. Yangervis Solarte walked them off in the early game with a home run and Yu Darvish got knocked around in game two which ended as a 7-2 loss. They’re now 92-43.
Corey Seager hasn’t played in what seems like forever, and the club has just been scant on details regarding his elbow injury. When is the last time you saw a position player who wasn’t allowed to throw and had to start a throwing program? This isn’t good folks. This is just awful.
The Dodgers can’t be stopped when at full strength. But lately, you’ve seen what can happen to an unstoppable team when integral parts of it go down (Seager, Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw, Alex Wood).
The Dodgers need Seager back healthy and in the lineup for this thing to work. This is probably something in reality that doesn’t get back to full strength until 2018, if we’re lucky.
