Happy Saturday to all. It’s actually September which is hard to believe.
As I watched the game at Yankee Stadium last year, it had that fall look to it. There was a chill in the air. October is not far off in the distance. Some teams are still alive in the standing with their pulse on life support. Others are playing out the string and left to play their meaningless games in purgatory.
It’s still all baseball though, which means there’s something special to behold in every game. Every game is a mark on time in life. Soon, we’ll be wishing even the most meaningless game was on somewhere. Don’t take an inning for granted.
Today’s 1980’s song of the week is by Howard Jones from 1986. No One Is to Blame:
So I am going to go back to wrestling my one year old and my two year old now. I hope to see some baseball. I hope to see some of the NCAA football games. Thank you for your continued support of Diamond Hoggers.
