Jackie Bradley Jr. has now hit in 29 straight games, stretching his streak to that mark with a slashing single to left field off Rockies starter Chad Betts at Fenway Park.
Bradley might not have blazing speed on his side as he attempts to track down history, but one thing we’ve noticed he has going for him is he seems to use the entire field. That should serve him well moving forward as he tries to get to 30 games and beyond.
Xander Bogaerts also stretched his own hitting streak to 18 games tonight with a home run. These two menaces are number one and number two in hitting in the American league at the moment.
