In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Adam Doron from Unpakt.

What do you do?

Serving as the CEO of Unpakt, my job is to keep our company MOVING forward.

What problem does your product/service solve?

Unpakt is a full service, online moving resource to conveniently compare prices, select a verified mover, and effortlessly book a move. It bridges the age old gap between the moving customer and the moving company. With a long history of negative experiences and moving day horrors, the relationship between customer and company was broken — until Unpakt. Unpakt’s online platform creates a friendly and accessible experience that enables both the customer and the moving company to have better transparency, control and quality in moving and storage.

What are you most excited about right now?

We’ve spent the past five years really tweaking and improving every feature of Unpakt, so we’re finally hitting a stride where we feel extremely confident about the quality and the depth of our product. In fact, we just recently found out we won the 2017 Gold Stevie Award in the Website – Real Estate category. This is huge for us as it confirms our efforts to optimize the funnel, UX, and UI paid off.

What’s next for you?

We’re branching out into a lot of package-based shopping as well as partner-focused programs. One of our biggest platforms is currently with Real Estate agents. Our product is the perfect complement to what they do, and we’re just about to launch a comprehensive dashboard specifically for Unpakt Partners.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I’m very passionate about the intelligent application of technology to drive improvements in everyday life. We see Unpakt as just one instance of a much bigger worldwide goal — to use intelligent technology to improve and streamline the way we interact with needs and available resources. With such basic and simple resources such as time and money at a premium, putting emphasis on the reduction of waste and the improvement of technological applications will serve the common good.
