Cody Bellinger hits for the Cycle in Miami

[Box Score]
[LA Times] [Cody Bellinger Hits for the Cycle]

Cody Bellinger is really running out of things to do that we’ve never seen a rookie player do before. Last night in a 7-1 win in South Beach (this shit always comes at the expense of the Marlins, doesn’t it?) he hit for the cycle, getting the triple last to complete it.

Bellinger’s home run was his 26th of the season, again tying him for the National League lead. He’s having an incredible season and is in some Most Valuable Player conversation now. Alex Wood also improved to 11-0 on the season in the game by throwing six shutout innings. A fun time was had by all.
